The range of period lighting accessories available from Period Features includes old-fashioned light switches to add the perfect finishing touch to your home.

These dolly switches, with their ceramic bases and ribbed or smooth metal covers, recapture the classic design and elegance of the earliest days of electricity in the home.

We also sell wooden mounting blocks, with their attractive profiling, which are suitable for use with the dolly switches. Square, round, rectangular and oval designs are available, in 1-gang to 4-gang versions. They are supplied in unfinished pine, for you to wax, stain or varnish as required.

period light switch Other period lighting accessories include 3-core fabric-covered electrical cable in brown or antique gold, priced per metre. This has an old-fashioned appearance but is fully compatible with modern standards. This kind of cable is very hard to find these days!
A small sample can be sent upon request.

Our range of period lighting accessories also includes ceramic light pulls with brass or chrome fittings, wooden light pulls and beautiful ceiling roses and pull switches, available in Bakelite or ceramic to match the light switches.
